established in 2012 is a medical college, Hospital and medical research public university. The Institute operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical science along with nursing and paramedical.
These institutions are being established by an Act of Parliament of india . All India Institute of Medical Sciences,New Delhi which have both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches and related fields, along with its have nursing and paramedical training, to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all branches of health care activity.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh (AIIMS Rishikesh) is a medical college and hospital based in Rishikesh. it was fully functional in 2012
AIIMS, Rishikesh is one of the SIX AIIMS like apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh came into exsistence as an institute of National Importance through an Act of parliament. The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Bill, 2012,was passed in the Lok Sabha on August 30,2012 and in Rajya Sabha on September 4, 2012.This Act enabled the Rishikesh AIIMS to be an autonomous body on the lines of the existing AIIMS, Delhi.
AIIMS Rishikesh hospital consists of 880 beds, 15 functional modular operating theatres, 18 functional super speciality and 19 speciality functional.

College has placement cell which organises placement event every year for the student. Almost all the student got placed by different hospitals such as max, fortis and etc. Highest package comes around 18 LPM and average pack ges comes around 13 LPA.
